Thanks so much for your willingness to participate in our second annual NC-ASTA All-State String Festival Application Process. The audition committee was very impressed by the applicant submissions and we are excited to put together this wonderful NC-ASTA All-State String Orchestra on October 19-20, 2018 @ FCDS!

Festival Participant List: This is sorted by section and then alphabetically by school/studio. If you have a student who is not able to participate, please let me know as soon as possible – so that I am able to notify the next person in line.
NC-ASTA All-State Festival October 2018 Roster.
Health Form: Please have each of your students fill this out with their parents signature and bring those to the registration area on the day of the festival.
2018 North Carolina ASTA All-State String Orchestra Medical Form
Festival Acceptance Form: Please complete BOTH pages of this form. (You will need to do this for each organization you represent.) Once completed, please e-mail both pages to (firstname.lastname@example.org) With the very short turnaround this year, we will need you to e-mail this back. We NEED to know SHIRT SIZES by Friday October 5th so we can get shirts made for the 19th.
2018 North Carolina ASTA All-State Orchestra Festival Acceptance Form
Clinic Fee: The $60.00 Registration Fee per student includes: NC-ASTA Clinic, T-Shirt, Snacks, Lunch, and Concert Recording. Please plan to bring your checks to the registration area on the day of the festival.
Festival Itinerary: Please read this over and share with your students. We are planning to start the seating auditions before the start of the first rehearsal. All students should plan to be warming-up in the auditorium by 4:00PM with auditions staring by 4:30PM.

Teachers: Must be current NC-ASTA members and will serve as chaperones for their students at all activities. If the sponsoring teacher cannot attend, he/she must submit a written request (10) days in advance to the Event Chair and the NC-ASTA President requesting permission for a substitute to take his/her place. This substitute will need to be an active NC-ASTA member.
Students: They are required to be in attendance for the entire clinic. Students who are selected for a chair and do not participate will be barred from participation for the next year.
Duties: Below you will find a list of Director Judging Assignments for the NC-ASTA All-State seating auditions 10/19/2018. Those of you who do not see your name listed below please plan to make your presence known to aid in calling students to audition lines, tuning, and helping to maintain order throughout our event.
If you are unable to fulfill your judging assignment please let me know as soon as possible so that I am able to designate a replacement. We will begin seating auditions before the first rehearsal starts.
